A Night of Heartfelt Love raised $200,000 for Box Hill Hospital in 2024

In March 2024 Michael Honsue Cho served as Chairman of the Night for A Night of Heartfelt Love, held at The Grand on Princes in Mulgrave in support of Box Hill Hospital, part of Eastern Health. The evening raised $200,000 toward the hospital's Biplane Angiogram Capital Campaign. Box Hill Hospital is one of Melbourne's largest public hospitals, serving more than 800,000 patients each year.

It was not the first. In 2017 the Eastern Health Foundation recognised his support of the inaugural A Night of Heartfelt Love, held in partnership with the Australia Macau Business Council. His giving has stayed with the same institution rather than moving between causes.

He has also supported the International Master Chef Charity Association, founded in 2014, which stages annual gala dinners across Taipei, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore and Hong Kong. Chefs from more than twenty-two countries take part at their own expense and the events run at zero administrative cost, with all proceeds independently audited and passed to charity.
