The research

Two decades, one idea.

Michael Honsue Cho has spent more than twenty years developing next-generation photodynamic therapy, a light-activated approach to treating cancer. He has filed thirteen patents worldwide as a named inventor.

The programme runs alongside the Hudson Institute of Medical Research, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Monash University, with the technology licensed to ASX-listed Invion Limited. A Phase II prostate cancer trial has been completed, an early-phase study has been followed for more than a decade, and the programme holds US FDA Orphan Drug Designation for anogenital cancer.
